Scott Takeda
Director/Storyteller
Takeda Entertainment, INC.
ABOUT
Scott Takeda
By training, Scott really should be working on the next generation Apple device or creating data storage for NASA. He was a science geek and attended college to get a science degree in electrical engineering, but somewhere in his sophomore year, his brain circuits shorted after getting a C. His first. Ever. So he switched to storytelling. After a decade-long run in television news, he opened his own production company, tallying six Emmys, a Gold WorldMedal and countless other awards. He also works in front of the camera as an actor. (Perhaps you’ve seen him on “Gone Girl,” “Dallas Buyers Club,” or “Drunk History.”) He occasionally wonders what his 18-year-old self would think if he knew he'd eventually earn a living as an artist. He remains grateful that a time-machine does not exist because he's certain this revelation would short circuit his teenager brain.
