Focusing on her triumphant return to the stage, this film is a celebration of Shakira’s bond with her fans around the globe. “Shakira In Concert: The El Dorado World Tour” opened as a one-night event n more than 2,000 theaters in 60 countries and combines private moments in-studio and behind-the-scenes clips of rehearsal with a concert performance for total access into the entire creative process.

James Merryman co-directed this film with the artist Shakira.

“The 55 date concert tour started in Europe and the Middle East, going to Barranquilla, Colombia, – Shakira’s hometown – and finishing up in the US. We filmed at the LA Show. We always knew this was about her fans and made the decision early on to include extra tour footage shot by her videographer Xavi. Shakira also wanted to elevate the viewing experience by treating the footage with overlays and gfx which transformed the viewing experience.

We are thrilled the concert film took home two Gold Medals from New York Festivals – for Special Event and Performing Arts Special.”
